In one of our

Previous Posts I wrote among others about the

Toonder Studio's, and
Dick Matena is also an example
of the Artists that started at the

Toonder Studio's....,

I understand that at Toonder Studio's he was
- among others -
responsible for - Tom Poes -

(BTW - Phonetic -
the same as the Pastery 

and I remember having frequently Seen Dick Matena's Name, and some of his Work in the EPPO-magazine.

He (Yeeeears ago) also (together with Herman Brood)
has been in
the Jury for a Cartoon Contest a Contest 
that Won me a Prize...! 

(a Year Subsciption to
Robbedoes Magazine!)

CORRECTION:

Did I mention it was Yeeeeears ago....?

I think I made a mistake, I do believe there indeed was an
Artist that worked at the Toonder Studio's in the Jury only I think that it was

Fred Julsing and not Dick Matena!

- Fred Julsing - among others, also created

'André van Duin, Een Showboot vol Heisa'
